About DENTAL Courses India :
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.)
BDS is a 5-years course which includes 1- year compulsory rotating internship program. Minimum 240 days of teaching in each academic year. During the above period, students shall be required to have engaged in full time study at a dental college, where he/she admitted. Dental college either recognized, or approved from the Dental Council of India / Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India.
BDS Admission Eligibility :
Candidate must complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to BDS Course. Candidate must have passed qualifying examination 10+2 or its equivalent from any recognized Indian board of study. Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Science subjects with Physics, Chemistry, Biology with at least (50% marks for general category candidates and 40% marks for the candidates belonging SC/ST/OBC category) taken together and also passed in English as a compulsory subject.
Master of Dental Surgery ( M.D.S )
MDS is a 3-years post graduate dental course offered by limited Dental Colleges in India with limited seat.MDS admission 2016 has been started . Lowest MDS Package @ Rs 10 Lac Only.

Last Date of Admission:
As per the orders of Government of India, all BDS admissions in all dental colleges of the country, must be completed by 30th September every year. No admission(s) shall be made beyond 30th September. No mid-term admission is allowed in any case.
