The college was earlier affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University until 2013 , when two universities GBTU and MTU were again united and the institute came under jurisdiction of the current university.the technical college is situated on the 30th km milestone, on the Delhi-meerut bypass, in a suburban area. It is an ISO 9001-2008 certified institute .the college started in 1998. From 1998 it build up state of art infrastructure, a technology savy campus, a team experienced faculties. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University. The college offers B.Tech courses in seven disciplines. It consists of 10 academic departments with a focus on education in engineering, sciences, pharmacy and management. History
The institute was started in 1998 under the aegis of the Krishna Charitable Trust. The college was then affiliated to the Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra. Later it came under UPTU(Uttar Pradesh Technical University) after the latter was formed. UPTU was renamed GBTU (GautamBuddh Technical University). Later GBTU was split into two separate universities, one retaining the original name GautamBuddh Technical University, and the other named Mahamaya Technical University. Institute is affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University but finally GBTU and MTU combined, Now institute is affiliated to UTTAR PRADESH TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY (UPTU)

The college has been nurtured and brought up by its founder-Director Prof T Ramanujam, a retired Air Marshal of Indian Air Force and Ex Dean of KIET and Director General Dr Ajay Sharma (Founder Director of JSSATE and Ex Director KIET)Campus :-The college infrastructure is a planned endeavour built over a period with care and concern keeping all the needs of a premier Engg Institution. The campus is located in Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, next to IAF Station Hindon and is strategically located vis–vis Delhi (5 Km from border), Ghaziabad (6 Km), Noida (12 Km) and other areas like Vasundhara, Vaishali & Kaushambi.
