Bharat Institute of Technology (BIT), Meerut was established in 2001. The institute is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The vision of the college is to provide quality education and groom students into confident and competent professionals imbibed with ethical values to successfully meet the challenges of highly competitive environment in global arena.

The mission of the college is to spread knowledge in the field of Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Management in dynamic synchronization with industry so that the students acquire global competency and apply the same in tandem with industry expectations and social aspirations. The BIT is situated on the Partapur Bypass Road, few km off to the National Highway-58 in Meerut, the district of UP. The campus comes under the Delhi-NCR region. The college is 8 km away from the Meerut and 52 km from the New Delhi. The college is spread over a lush green area of 80 acres of land.

The BIT offers the 1026 seats for admissions as an intake capacity of students in all programmes. The college has a well experienced, well qualified and motivated to work team of faculty.
