Overview

Dr. H.L.T. College of Pharmacy, Bangalore was established in 1987 with a vision to promote excellence in the profession of pharmacy. The college is offering D.Pharm B.Pharm, M.Pharm programs successfully and all these programs are approved by PCI, AICTE New Delhi and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. Dr. H.L. Thimmegowda College of Pharmacy aims to deliver pharmacy program beyond the limits of academic curriculum by providing all-round education to the future pharmacists to meet the global challenges.

The college has been managed by Sri Hombe Gowda Education Trust. The vision of the institute is to provide highest standards of pharmacy profession for developing global competencies with successful implementation of good pharmacy education practice and to project the role of future pharmacist of India as important and competent health care professional in providing the optimal value services to the society. The mission of the institute is to meet the needs of society locally, regionally and worldwide with focus on the growth of students along with institution.

Campus

The campus is sprawled over 40 acres of land. It has modern facilities in campus and faculty rich in talent and experience. The college is situated 60 km from Bangalore on Bangalore-Mysore national highway (B-M). The college city is well-connected by roads. The academic departments of the college are housed with all laboratories and classrooms of various subjects.

Placement

This placement portal automates the placement process at the college. Employers can use this portal to communicate with the College Placement Office and through necessary permissions manage campus recruitment and hire students and alumni through online process. It also organizes the guest lecturers from the Eminent Personalities from Industry for career counseling. The cell invites various organizations for conducting recruitment drive of final or pre-final year students.
