Overview

GLA University, Uttar pradesh was established in year 1998 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, it was accorded the status of a university under the U.P. Act of 2009.The University is approved by UGC, NCTE, PCI and AICTE. The institution is headed by renowned academicians dedicated to its holistic growth and a focus on helping their students become successful citizens and professionals. The GLA University came into existence and started its operations effective in 2010.

The vision of the university is to be a pace-setter among universities for our academic excellence focused on education, research and Development in established and emerging professions, the mission is to provide quality education at both the undergraduate and post-graduate levels, to conduct research and to provide consultancy and extension services relevant to current and emerging socio economic needs and to lead in continuously improving and sustaining the quality of the teaching-learning process and set standards that other institutes would want to emulate.

Spread across 110 acres of land, the university is home to more than 10,000 students enrolled in a variety of professional courses.
