It is recognized from both governing bodies All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & Pharma Council of India (PCI) institute and is affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University. It is situated in the 3 lm from Sasni Gate on Mathure Road, Aligarh, UP. The training & placement (TPC) cell was established by the college authorities for the welfare of the students.

A Bachelor of Pharmacy is an Undergraduate academic degree in the field of pharmacy. It is conducted at Aligarh College of Pharmacy from 2005-06 with an annual intake of 60 and State Government of UP and All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi have approved this programme. The eligibility for the admission in equivalent course is 10+2 with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in total for required subject combination (Physics & Chemistry compulsory + Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology).
