The university is going to be directed by Dr. Amir Ullah Khan, President of Glocal University. He is a former officer of the Indian Civil Services and is currently a Senior Policy Advisor with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The Schools of Glocal University are going to be managed by distinguished academicians in their respective fields. Dr. Arup Roy Chowdhury, Ph.D (New York University) will head as Dean, School of Computer Science and Associate Dean, School of Technology. Dr. Kashi Balachandran, who is a professor emeritus of accounting and operations management at Stern School of Business, will head Glocal’s School of Business and Commerce as the Executive Director. Mr. Yousuf Saeed (AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia), will head Glocal’s School of Media and Cultural Studies. School of legal studies and research will be headed by Dr. Raju.K.D, Fulbright Fellow, (Ph.D, JNU). Dr. Neerja Dhankar PhD. (University of Delhi) is going to manage Glocal’s School of Education and Research and Mr. Indrajit Gupta (IIM Calcutta,) with more than three decades of industry experience, will guide Corporate Interface and Placements.

The university boasts of a highly qualified and award winning faculty from prestigious institutions from across the country (such as IIT, IIM and renowned universities from abroad) with a vast wealth of teaching experience. The best of teaching minds empowered by innovative curriculum and infrastructure will shape students into enterprising professionals of tomorrow. The faculty will advocate a radical approach towards education with a prime focus on in-depth study and practical application of knowledge with code of ethics.

The university campus, spread across 300 acres, is located in the quiet surroundings of the Shivalik foothills, thus offering the perfect blend of state-of-the-art infrastructure and beautiful natural backdrop. The university provides fully furnished hostels for boys and girls separately with primary objectives of providing safety and comfort. The overall capacity for each hostel is 1028 students. Sports facilities support outdoor games such as cricket, lawn tennis to indoor games such as table tennis.

The University is strategically connected by road to the National capital – New Delhi, and the state capital of Uttaranchal – Dehradun . As it awaits its first batch of 10+2 pass outs as well as graduates, Glocal is sure to change their future as well as the future of the nation.

Campus

Glocal University has the sprawling lush green 30-acre campus with well-equipped infrastructure. It has seven major schools and 40 plus UG/Postgraduate/ professional courses to offer. It has highly esteemed and qualified faculty with years of rich industry experience. It has the state-of-the-art facilities, fully furnished hostels and recreation centres.

Facilities

The institute has the state of art infrastructure, fully Wi-Fi campus, spacious and well furnished classrooms, well equipped laboratories, library with around 20,000 plus books and e journals with extra space. The campus has attached hostels for girls and boys within the boundaries of college, mess is also built inside the hostels, cafeteria, sports ground, dispensary, banking, gymnasium, transport facility, etc.

Programmes

The Glocal University offered the many programmes in various disciplines. It has many affiliated schools / colleges approved by the ACITE. It offers the Bachelor of pharmacy of four year duration and Diploma in Pharmacy of two year duration. The pharmacy courses offered by the University are PCI approved.
